Festiva Madness is Oct each year.

We are looking at the first weekend of the month.

Oct 2nd is a Saturday and also the local car show we crashed is that Saturday.

Lots of folks had a good time doing a convoy over to it late that evening.
They have a DJ and most times a clown.

Last year we had it late in the month and the weather was turning cold.

99% sure it will be the 2nd.

With so many Festiva folks in town Friday, Madness happens for several days.

That's when the Florida meet is gonna be. Late Feb. early March. ....Perfect weather 60s @ night, 70s in the day.....Be there!!

as Long as I know the date in advance I'll be there!

I know I've asked this before, but what part of florida do you live Greg? And will you be holding the meet there, or somewhere else? I'd love to make a trip back to my home state!

Weather was PERFECT!!! Seems you did perfect this time! October can be tricky..hot or cold....but usually seems mild.

I haven't talked with the others yet, but I suspect we will try to find a good spot in Jacksonville or Lake City because they will be the easiest to get to for everyone north or south..... or west (hint, hint)

I was surprised how hot it was for October and not in Florida....but then again, there was nearly no humidity, which helps A LOT!

That Saturday was the warmest day in a week up here, by 10 degrees!

I'm sure we will meet somewhere. Chili don't be trying to make this close to you. There is nothing to see in lake city and Jacksonville is not familiar to any of us. It like saying let's all meet at the halfway point where we are all lost. I am thinking of doing it south of here like palm beach international raceway or something. At least over here by me cause I'm 4 miles from the ocean.........

Daytona is a good place for Festies

When I lived there, the Daytona Mall was pretty dried up, which means LOTS of parking space!

Good point, and MUCH closer to me!!! (and just a couple of miles off I95, which is a direct injection into FL)

Sorry Greg, I was just trying to put others before ourselves.
We aren't the ones traveling hundreds of miles to get here, I figured the less miles outsiders have to travel, the more likely they are to show up.
