yeah both me and my gf were runnin very low on funds and could afford to stay the night and buy a new one. i just gotta pay my dad back now. he called the tow service where i live and the guy came all the way down to get us and brought us back

im just glad we made it out of the that crazy traffic. the last thing i wanted to do was break down among all those road psychos

well if u guys are gonna have a festiva meet again next year i wont have to worry about it cause ill have all the issues fixed on it by then. i plan on taking the sound system out until i can get a high output alternator for the festy that can handle the loads i put on it. so without the sub box back there ill be able to carry some tools and parts with me then lol

We have meets all the time. The next one out here in the midwest is usually a winter brunch. Some of us were talking about that @ the meet

yeah i wont be taking any more chances of long trips until i get a few things fixed on it. need a couple new tires, need to rebuild the steering and of course the alternator

i have not had good luck on road trips, head gasket blew, got a ticket, the list goes on. but thats what makes the trips fun though you dont know where you are going to end up you just hope your at your destination on time.

i guess im wired differently then cause id rather that didnt happen on a trip. the smoother the trip the better

just ask muscle_car1 about any of our roadtrips. they dont normally turn out good.

yeah i know he had a wheel bearing come apart this time. i wont be goin on anymore road trips until i fix a few things on my car so i wont have to worry about bein stranded again
