I have a connection on a motel. It's the days inn on US-1 it's about 1-2 miles from the meet spot and about 5-6 miles from my house. I'll know how many rooms are available on Monday. I discovered my parents are friends with the GM. And she said $45 a night.

It's on the water too. They also have conference rooms and a restaurant/bar. I just thought I'd let everybody know. I just found this stuff out.

OK Motel Update

I talked to the GM of the Tropical Days Inn Resort of Palm Bay. She said mention "Sunshine Meet" and the room/s will be $45. This also includes 2 meals and all amenities.

Greg, that looks like a good deal. When I was checking rates last month, they came up as not having rooms available. Wierd that they now have rooms available. I gotta check it out. We may change reservations.

Sorry I didn't have the details sooner. She said that she'd reserve 10 rooms, then if those fiil, she reserve 10 more. She also said no local events were going on that weekend, besides the only one
