    • resuwrecked, we have a CB, I will have to ask Dean if he's bringing it.
We will have our 2-ways and a couple of others will too. We use those a lot when we convoy, so if you have one, bring it too. Dean's cell is in all his posts, see above. Mine is 919-497-6205. As soon as I can talk to britstiva and pin down what exit we are meeting him at, I can let you know timing better and we can plan where and when to meet.

      • Weather was great today

Today was a great day to be outside.

Started installing the body kit on the b6t for the trip down.

Since the car will be the b6t instead of the B P, needed to flat black the kit.

                • I've changed our reservations to the Tropical Days Inn Resort. $45 rates and free meals helps out!

I know not everyone wants to have their phone numbers floating around so, I have everybody's phone numbers and as soon as I clean out a few PM's to make some room in my box, I'm going to send the list to everyone who is currently signed up for the convoy on Thursday. Print it or put it in your phone. That way everyone has contact numbers if there is a problem.

The plan is to get the folks who come in Wed night up and out of the house by 7:30 Thursday morning.
Stop in south Raleigh(I-40 exit 303) to pick up KR3AM and leave there by 8:00. Allowing everybody to fuel up if necessary(gas and coffee)

Resuwrecked: We should be switching to I-95 about 8:25. Do you want to meet at the first exit on I-95 - Benson, exit 79? We can pull off there and pick you up, or meet you down the road when we pick up Britstiva. Or, you can just lurk until we show up! What's your preference?

Stop in Fayetteville(I-95 exit 49) which is NC210/Cedar Creek Rd about 9:00. Pick up Britstiva.

Then we have 270 miles to Savannah to meet the GA/AL guys. bebandit and I have discussed meeting at I-95 exit 94. Allowing for gas/lunch stops, we should be there around 2:00.

(I may be ambitious on my timing because I have found that the more people in the convoy, the longer the stops take!!)

From Savannah, we will have about 300 miles to Palm Bay. About 5 hours driving time.

Anybody got suggestions? If you have 2-ways, don't forget to bring them.

                        • T-shirt size needed if you are joining the Florida Madness Convoy

Everyone that is meeting up with the Festiva Madness Convoy to Florida be sure to e-mail me your T-shirt size. deanraleighnc@cs.com

You may also just post your reply here

I will be making these over the weekend and one is free to each driver with there Festiva or Aspire who is joining us headed down or who joins us headed back.

I know some folks can't make it down with us Thursday, but will be headed back up with us Sunday so you still get a shirt while the supply last.

Still trying to make up some decal numbers for the cars. To get the shirt you must display a number while in the convoy. This makes you a "official" Madness convoy member.

I will need three choices of numbers in the order you of preference,

Numbers not available known are 15, 68, 42,

                          Thanks

Meeting at exit 79 sounds good. I see there is a mcdonalds and kfc right off that exit, I will be waiting there. Looks like a quick jump off then back onto 95. AHH I can't wait!
