doubt it....if you can get it done for $150 with a new windshield I would jump on that.

You can get new ones installed reasonably, about $150 or less installed.

OK, awaiting word of Festyboy's return and of Festiva_Tunners safe arrival.
You all need to tell the story of your adventure in getting to OSX!

Alicia and Kemp, I'm glad it was something that you could still get home with this time.
You should have stayed over, but glad you made it home safe.

Matt, one of your cars did make it.
With a little help from skeeter Keeper, who before I could find a stud kit I said he could have, had already swapped out the left caliper.
And I still haven't found that set of studs.

Think the trip to the JY was a success, so may add it to the festivities next Ohiostiva.
And just for the record Batstiva made it in and out without incident!

Woot! Made it home. Had a great time. Somehow didn't get to meet everyone who was there. Dumped a bottle of "seal repair" into the car last night. (I know, I know, but I just needed the car to make it home) Very minimal oil loss on the trip home. Topped off at the junkyard. At which no one was maimed or killed. Got home about 1/2 quart low. Much better than the rest of the weekend. Now the 89 just has to make it to pick up the bolts for the 90, and then the 89 gets a new(er) engine and 5 speed tranny. So no more bringing up the rear so everyone else can see out of their windshields.

P.S. FB71, I have something that belongs to you. If you need it back quickly, PM me a mailing addy, and I'll drop it in. Otherwise, I'll hang onto it until next time.

mine was an easy fix; t-stat stuck closed (wouldn't even crack open in boiling water), and the little bypass hose under #4 sparkplug had a pinhole in it, preventing the system from pressurizing. Replaced those and the 22 year-old radiator cap, and she's just fine now.

Kemp, you should be fine. Those kits work pretty well.

Bought & installed; no just waiting for the lock-tite to cure. hopefully thats it, If not I gotta go get a head

Still in Columbus. My car got 36.9 MPG from Toledo to summit to moraine and then back about halfway to wakeman. Water pump is leaking but not too bad.
