Meet starts at my house Friday as soon as the first folks get here. We have been talking over things to do and plans are still being set, but will probably be working on several projects for folks. May be doing an Aspire swap, tranny swap, some folks may go junk yarding, etc. Will post more soon.

You really should consider staying until Sunday. The fun don't stop from Friday morning through Sunday day....and sometimes eve.. and sometimes Monday morning.... If you break down and have to be towed back or can't start b/c you're broke down... right Gestiva and Sparky??

There really is nothing like looking out a window and seeing Festivas bumper to bumper all over the driveway at Smedley's place.

We stayed at comfort inn. It was about 1 mile from the meet site. I'll dig the info up too.

It was $47 a night. 2 beds and a fold out couch. Less than $20 each per night.

Lodging

I thought it would be nice to have this info brought up to a more recent post again.... We are only 63 days away until FMIV weekend begins!!!

There are several places near the meet site and there is info in the FM3 meet thread about them, but last year several folks stayed at the Sleep Inn in Wake Forest and all seemed to enjoy it. So, I went and talked to them about reserving a block of rooms.

There are 10 rooms held for Festiva Madness (tell them you are coming to Madness when you call) The rooms are either 2 Queens or 1 King. Nightly rate is 69.99 plus tax. If you want, you can upgrade to a room with a microwave and refrigerator for $5 more per night. They also have an indoor pool.

Wake Forest is about 10 miles north of the meet site, straight up US1/Capital Blvd. Sleep Inn address is 12401 Wake Union Church Rd, Wake Forest, NC if you want to map it. Don't let your GPS take you down the back roads.

I have no doubt that "the committee" will do FMIV justice and likely set the bar pretty high for FMV.
