    I may come if I can get someone to take over the meeting I have to attend on Saturday.... If I am able to make it, I'm thinking of towing down Sapphire....

      I'm still giddy!!! Jay, man, you ROCK!!! Thank you so much for fixing Sapphire today!!

      I know we all had a great time hanging out with you today!

      The convoy down.... LittleBlueCar driving hubby's red Aspire (Jiminy Cricket). Smedley and Jiminy in the Festiva... and me trailing the group, towing Sapphire.

      Kartracer (Jay) spent all day long working on Sapphire. He cut a peice off of a donor part and cut the damaged peice off the front of Sapphire. Then he straightened out the folded back side and welded in the donor metal.

      Results can be seen in my garage posting:

      Thanks to Jay and his wife for feeding us today today!! I had a great time playing with the kids and hanging out with you guys!! The kids have fondly renicknamed us as:

      Smedley = Girl in yellow shirt

      Britstiva = White shirt

      Littlebluecar = that other girl LOL

      Littlebluecar took lots of pics of the action... so as soon as I can get up with her, we'll show you those pics.

      The results are awesome!! So I guess when Jay says it will "buff out" you've gotta trust him!! LOL

        I second Jeremy's comment. Jay-YOU ROCK!

        We had a great time hanging at kartracer's place yesterday. And, I at least, got quite an education in body repair. Jay is the Master! If he says it can be fixed, believe him.

        Beautiful day, good food, good friends, fun playing with the kids.
        Thanks Jay.

          Well had a good time and glad I could help out and get another Britstiva going. I got the oil and fuel filters done on mine to day and talked to Pu241 for a bit on the phone. I hope a few wheel weights will cure Smedleys vibration. It sure didn't feel like it had any serious issues. That is one little fun car to drive, I think the EFI may have spoiled me. lol hopefully the second annual will have a few more participants, I had the shop open and didn't even get the first festy on the rack till mine today. :p

            Scitzz and I agree that tire tread and brakes are both very overrated.
