St. Louis Meet Roll Call!

So what did everyone spend on gas for the trip? I figure we spent $55ish. Left with a half tank and got home with a half tank. 34 on the tank over - 31 around town - not sure on the last tank forgot to figure! Probably bad since I held it at 75 at 3500rpm with 10% ethanol not going to do that again. Had plenty of power on the hills though! An Aspire automatic trans swap sure is tempting... 5 speed probably better on long trips as long as you don't hit traffic!

I think if I can get a few bugs worked out we'll be taking it on more road trips. With the Escape would of taken at least twice that. Really wasn't bad space wise although the boy can give quite the back massages. That's not so good when he's cranky and your in traffic!! Another observation I wasn't near as tired when I got home.. I guess the harshness of 3500 and wind kept me awake?

Yeah i didnt make it out. A good friend ship out date to guam got bumped a month, so I visited him instead. Last time I'll see him for atleast 2 years.

ok you have my number don't worry about the beer I'm not a beer drinker the wheels are dismounted& I could mount a tire for you but I don't have a balancer so you would have to get it balanced I had these wheels on my green car for a while so I know that they are good and straight

That's cool.. have a life time balancing with all of the tires. As long as I get them on there.

yeah and if you do get some that need to be dismounted just holler I have a tire machine I have two 13 inch metro rims that are straight there yours if you want them I also have two 13 inch Mazda 323 wheels that are straight let me know

CharlieZ, you need to do a photo shoot and writeup of your car! Definitely enter it in FOTM. Best looking one at the meet for sure!

They will charge you for both the tires and rims @ PNP. Then give you store credit when you return the tires. Course it cost $ to have the tires removed from the rims. Ive got plenty of stock rims. Come and get some.

Yeah did that once with one other bent rim. I think the other one got bent when the suspension came undone. Actually we have some extra stock rims also.. 3/4 of those are bent and of course not marked. FYI at PNP their not supposed to charge for the tire if it's bald.
