I'm sure you will be fine reserving a tent site. If you were reserving a cabin it would be a different story. There are other campgrounds in the area that are close enough to drive to. I'm thinking about taking my tent and camping at Cook Forest which is about an hour away from Moraine. It's really beautiful there too!

I meant it takes 6 hours to get from York to Summit Racing in Ohio. It's about 5 hours from Moraine State Park to York, trust me I've traveled here many times since I go to college 15 minutes away from Moraine. Also, Perry county is further west than York so that's why it takes you less time to get there.

Yea that's the best way to go from where you are. I might steal my dad's EZ-Pass and take the turnpike out if there is a lot of construction because this past year 80 was really bad! I had to wait 20 minutes in construction and my car kept overheating. It was very annoying!

              Information on "Free Festival"

The" Free festival" is on Labor Day weekend only at the Trumbull county fairgrounds. Search: Glenn Christian Church Ox Roast Car Show. There is also free camping at the fairgrounds that weekend. The 2011 schedule is not posted yet.

80 is a nice route to head out that way... And you save $10 worth of tolls via the turnpike.

                Here's hoping for Moraine still.

Don't think it's the final word on it yet, we have lots of time yet.
How much lead time do you need to reserve the pavilion?

Ha! I'm usually a last minute type of person. I'll try to do it earlier this year if we decide to go back to Moraine.

Here's a vote for Moraine. If I make it, I'd like to stay the night and camping is totally my bag, baby.

I'll vote for Moraine as well!

But Rocket doesn't have a Festy so probably doesn't count

If he's going to show it counts, but if he's a no show after saying he will, he is given the "GforceFD icon of shame"!
