Hotels/Motels near the Summit Meet

Has anyone had any experience with Hotels or Motels in and or around the Summit meet, there is a huge price difference, any help would be great.

I would like to come in my Festiva, but hasn't run for a few months. Is there anyone that would help with replacing the head gasket? I have removed the head and bought the head gasket, but I could use some experience and assistance with finishing this project. I live about 5-10 minutes from Summit Racing, if anyone is able to help I can pay for your time and provide a place to stay.

I happen to have just done a head gasket on my girlfriend's car and am in need of a place to stay!

and get new bolts if you want the job to last. I skimped one time and didn't replace the bolts on a 3.0 and within a week I had to tear it back down and redo it because it was leaking oil out the side. The gasket was fine, if a little squished from torking it down.. i guess the old bolts stretched too much or something, after I bought new ones it was fine.

Karl is correct.
Specifically, the B series head bolts are not TTY (Torque to yield), if they were you'd be correct.
TTY head bolts need to be replaced with each use.

O, 4 real lol.. learn something new everyday ey! Like I said, limited knowledge! But I try hard, when I do what I do. I know a bunch of ways to do alot of stuff wrong, which sometimes results in doing things right! So my post was only with good intentions!

First thing you do is to check the room before you settle in.

Have a GOOD flashlight!

Check under the sheets, mattress pad, between mattress and box spring, and then under the box spring itself. If you need to, tear some of the bottom of the box spring fabric so you can see under to the wood. Look in cracks, crevices, seams of all the fabric, looking for the bedbugs, dead or alive.

Look on the floor around the bed, around the walls near the bed, pull back some carpet if you can. Look behind all pictures or headboard, inside all drawers, anywhere a very flat insect could hide. Look for bedbug droppings on the sheets, though if they changed them (let's hope so!), they should be clean.

Don't put your bags, clothes or unattended shoes on the floor or any fabric item (chairs, bed, etc.). Put them only on table or desktops, stands or shelves. No need to carry any "hitchhikers" home.

If you haven't done so yet, go on the web and look to see what bedbugs look like and small they are so you can identify them.

This is what I do before I settle into any hotel room. I sleep better this way.
