Fan Favorite this year was FLYIN4STROKE Congratulations Mike, that car has come a long way from last year. As many of you may remember Mike won the Best Beater award last year for a car that had just been wrecked and was patched together and primered. Mike sincerely thanked eurotiva for his help in getting the car done. Great job, guys. Everyone loved it.
Great time every one. O'Reilly's was great. 67 cars. Someone will post up pics as soon as they stop with the carrying on, I am sure. Again this year, I did not get time to take a single picture
Other motorists. We were blessed. Our convoy consisted of my car and the Sparky family. At 5:00PM yesterday afternoon, Sparky's little girl needed to use the restroom. We jumped onto an off-ramp and made a pit stop. About 15 minutes later, we hit the interstate again, only to stop dead about 15 minutes up the road. A driver of a work truck cut off a van, causing it to roll, which then became a blockade for two more vehicles, and as the truck spun out of control, that driver hit two MORE vehicles. It happened at 5:15PM. We would have been in the accident if it weren't for that pit stop!
The best news is that the two airlifted people have been upgraded from critical to serious! They're going to make it!
