Area Festy 1 members DriverOne, MadScientist, and sshort1986 signing in. We've set up base at the Days Inn Crabtree along with Sparky and his family. The trip wasn't without incident. I'm praying for the two individuals who were airlifted to Spartanburg Memorial this afternoon.

    DriverOne out.

If anyone has a time machine that I can borrow, I'd like to back a month or so and do some work on mine so it could be here!
I have a guess as to who that was!

Just kidding: although a buddy and I toured the US northeast coast back in the mid-70s in a $50 Austin Mini with extra wheels strapped to the roof and enough engine parts and tools to do an entire rebuild. That time we were lucky and did get home OK, but another friend had to abandon his worse-for-wear MGA at a corner gas station in Carolina because of a blown engine. He came home on the bus.
Removing the back seat is quite unnecessary. http://youtu.be/G6eMNvsvWH0

Paul's absolutely correct. "Madness" is not just a clever name for the meet! It's a way of life with these little cars!

I know... preachin' to the choir!
