I went last year. Drove 55MPH from Dallas to Raleigh pretty much non-stop. Around 30 hours on the road.
This year one or two other Dallas area people may go and have a little convoy. We'll probably take Highway 20 across northern LA.

              • I've already scheduled time off at work. May start looking into hotels soon.

Never driven more than 1.5 hours in a festy though. Plenty of 12-24 hour stints in Grand Prixs though.

                  • I drive all the time. I'm a delivery driver for work and I go to car shows all the time that are two to four hours away. But that's in my '06 Charger. And by the time this show rolls around, If I have my Festy the way I want it, it'll b topless. Now I'm not cryin and sayin I ain't gonna do it, but an adventure it'll definitely be. Lol.

                    • I've driven my Festiva on a 4 hour trip several time! Dang long distance relationship! Never really seems like an "adventure" to me. Just driving like I would in any other car...except getting much better gas mileage!

                        • Oh..pure roadster? I figured, by topless you meant some sort of sliding canvas top like the funtop Festivas.

                            • This is one I had bought in Florida to get parts off. We did a "test cut" on it to get an idea of wgar it was gonna look like, since it was goin to the scrap yard anyway.
