Ok, I think everyone got the word that we had to move the meet. O'Reilly's Address 5610 Atlantic Ave.

Several people have asked about places to stay that are close so posting info here.
Closest is Hampton Inn 3621 Spring Forest. Located at Capital Blvd and Spring Forest Rd.
Also, Regency Suites 4400 Capital Blvd. (Used to be Comfort Suites)
Super 8 Raleigh NE 3801 Capital Blvd.

Hampton Inn is closest. 3621 Spring Forest Rd.
Regency Suites - 4400 Capital Blvd. FL boys stayed there when it was Comfort Suites and it was fine. probably still fine.
Super 8 Raleigh NE 3801 Capital Blvd.

I know folks who have stayed at all three. The Regency Suites and Super 8 are probably less expensive but a little farther away. still only a couple of miles.

You will be 4.4 miles from 5610 Atlantic Ave (the meet at O'Reillys) and 5.4 miles from Madness Central (Barb's House)
I will be at the Wingate just around bend from you on Westinghouse Blvd.

We've been to madness twice before but never in a Festiva. Things are dangerously close to coming together to change that. Got a late start on preparing my 88LX for the trip but it's looking like it may happen. I'm set to get some new tires on it tonight. Still need to change the oil. The alternator looks a little tired but at this point, I'll just throw some parts in the car and take a shot at it unless something big gets in the way. Staying with friends in Durham this year so I may not see y'all until Saturday. John

I'll watch for the cloud of smog from that TDI, haha, couldn't resist. We're planning to leave on Thursday evening and stay somewhere around Columbus. I'm pretty much a speed limit kind of guy so you may catch us if you leave on Friday. Red 88LX, just but some new 13" tires on Hyundai wheels on it. Still have some work to do over the next couple days. Backup plan is my wife's Focus.

rain, rain do away!!!! There are threats of rain for the weekend because of a low that's going to stall off the coast. Depends on where it is as to what we might get. Do NOT let the threat of rain keep you away, we have contingency plans if needed.
