Update on Mad Dash 2015
We crossed the Mississippi last night, and stayed the night in some little town about 150 miles east of Memphis. The cars are running great, but all 3 are getting much worse gas mileage since we entered Texas.
B6 is getting 37 mpg
B6D is getting 35 mpg
B6t is getting 32mpg
We are averaging 70mph now. I'm not sure if the drop in mpg is due to the fuel or a head wind.
The b6 swap car has really started to shine now. It took about 1000 miles for the ECM to optimise for the new engine, since it's all stock B3 injection. The car pulls really hard and has really impressed us at how well it'll keep up with Tweak and Pedro. Anyone who swaps a bigger more powerful engine into a car with stock management should really give the car 1000 miles or more to sort itself out.
