      Hey Nate, this look familiar?

Mad Dash convoy met up with Scitzz last night for a late dinner before we headed to Rocky Mount. We're going to The Outer Banks today to put the cars on the sand at Corolla Beach.

Driving for me is neither a right nor a privilege. Driving is my passion, as it was for the people who invented the automobile, the people who paved the first roads and the people who continue to improve the automobile. Please respect this passion.

We arrived and checked into the Econolodge in Raleigh at 12:30 am this morning. Total mileage for the trip including a side trip to see Tom in STL and Ben in Lexington was 2815 miles. Averaged 32 mpg @ 75-80 mph with the automatic.

Well, the AZ/CA crew are all safely back home. My total trip mileage was just over 6400 miles, including driving to San Diego first and driving out to Corolla beach, and all the exploring and excursions that we did along the way. It was an amazing journey filled with blue skies and hurricanes, friends and adversaries, as well as many ups and downs. We're all looking forward to next year.
