With less than four weeks to go we are getting excited as this year's event is shaping up to be another great one. We have confirmed attendees from Idaho, Washington State, Alberta and Saskatchewan. A number of our "regulars" coming will be there too along with a number of first timers. The long range weather forecast is calling for sunny skies and a temperature of 24ºC/75°F.
If you're wondering what the "extra" is that I've mentioned in earlier posts I can now tell you. I've booked a tour of the Fred Phillips car collection on the evening of Westiva. Fred is a car guy through and through and shares the stories behind each acquisition. At the end of the tour Fred asks for a donation (recommended at $30.00) all of which goes towards Alberta Adolescent Recovery Centre of which he is a supporter... he'll tell us all about it! I have spots for about 30 people on the tour and Fred has asked that I him know how many are coming by July 7th. Even if you're not coming to Westiva you're welcome to join the tour so please let me know if you'd like to join us.
