Unfortunately we do not have the option to enable editing in specific forums.
It's an all or nothing thing as it now stands.

        I fixed your post:

        LOTS OF BIG PICS!!

That stinks that it's all or nothing. It doesn't seem to bother the board having only 30 minutes, it might be more than some sites.

I'll tell you all why we don't have post editing available. It's 2 reasons actually.

          1) It would make things easy.
          2) It would make sense.

As with anything in life, if it is too easy, and it makes sense, IT DOES NOT HAPPEN.

This goes for anything, mark my words.

Please don't banhammer me for stating facts of life, just letting people know the truth. I do know and understand why you don't have it, it's 50/50 on all the forums I'm on, this just happens to be one without, and I really couldn't care less either way.

Zoom - the reasons have been stated above and "being too easy" was not listed as the REAL reason

By you stating that thinking we as mods/admins are taking the easy way, it kinda pisses me off to be honest, it's like saying "hey you have a reason but I don't believe it so you guys must be lazy"

            Thanks :thumbright:

not only the issue of changing rant posts....but we also had members get mad and want to leave the site after being here for years. There is sometimes a wealth of information that person has contributed or was added to their post. They get mad and delete their account and guess what....all info is now gone for good. That is why when you click on some of the stickies and such....the links no longer work.

Once the info is out there on this site, we do not want it going anywhere. Hopefully you ALL can understand that.
