I can't remember which gauge wire I used, but it was slightly bigger than stock, and to be on the safe side, I ran twin positive wires to mimick the stock wires, ran them from the trunk, under the carpet, through the driver's door sill, them followed the harness through the door pillar and on top of the fender well (between the fender and engine compartment's left side) through a hole in the engine compartment's left side and connected it with the remains of the factory positive battery cable. For the negative, I grounded it to the bolt of the hatch latch. Oh, and I'm using a stock battery in the trunk, on the driver's side, just missing a battery case. No problems with charging whatsoever. The left lane? Are you crazy!!! I never drive in the left lane...It's full of freaks driving the wrong way and charging right at you!!!

You don't need more batteries in the vehicle. The battery is only there to start the car, when it is running all the elctrics run off the alternator. If you are having problems with charging now you would need to run a bigger alt. But I would think 200 amps would be ample. By the way a 17inch screen would look massive in a festy, is it mounted in the boot.

haha.. yea i am going to have it set up in a series with the batteries.. one wire from the alt to the main battery, then to an isolater, with the other two hooked up directly to the amps. and one of the monitors is were the back seat should be at and the other will be in the back window facing out on a hinge to swing down for at car shows... will get some pics up as soon as i can... possibly tomorrow with how it looks as of now..
