  • speakers?

I'm not a big stereo guy. I pulled my front speakers out and there round in square plate. I figured they were were 4" but all the 4" speakers I've looked at on the net seem to be round. what size am I looking for?

i believe they are 3 and a half inch, but its been a while since I've looked anything like that up. But you're right, they are smaller than 4" but 3 1/2" sounds right.

hmmmm just double checked the speaker itself is 4" but the square mounting bracket has got me baffled I was gonna order some off ebay tonight. but I'm not sure if the 4" ones with the round plate will work as well. danm guess I'm gonna have to go down to an audion shop and feel like a newb.

4 inch front and rear. You can make pioneer 5.25s work in the rear(probably any 5.25, but I used Pioneers without too much hassle). But you are stuck with 4" up front, the hole pattern is standard and any 4" speaker should work.

The stock speakers are absolutely 100% 4" front&rear. I had after-market 4"s and they bolt in.

Also 5 1/4" will fit in the doors and 6x9s go nicely in the cargo cover.

actually i put 6 1/2 in the front doors with very little modification windows work and everything, and i have 6 1/2's in place of the rears, that took a little more modification but its deffenatly not out of the question

i replaced all the speakers in mine as well as added some 6.5 ones in a back dash i made for it and they aound awesome with the aftermarket pioneer deck and custom sub system i put in it. the front ones went in just fine but the back ones i had to make a bracket for since the holes were i lil off. i think in a few weeks though i will be changing them all back out so they all match though instead of bein just a big mismatch of speakers. that and i think i may have damaged the 4s in the back lol
