now for the final layer covering up all the small holes and all the large hole/gaps along the doors and trunk and paneling etc to make an airtight right to help keep sound in and road noise out.

figured id post some pics up here since not everyone visits the aspire forum.
just copied and edited most posts to fit into less posts.

i saw a jeep drive past me while i was walking the other day and all i heard was bass from blocks away and as he drove past me with his windows down that was still all i heard. there were no vocals, mids, or highs, sounded like all he had was some subs it made me and my gf laugh.

not many people go for SQ builds ive only seen 1 in person.
i like SQ systems because you can turn your volume up and no specific frequency is overwhelming to the others they all play in unison and you can hear every detail distortion free.
and they get just as loud only every freq is loud not just bass.

put it all together last year. got it imprinted a couple months ago
cant get it to sound any cleaner. once you hear a properly installed and built and tuned stereo. its like angels singing into your ears.
and you can never get away from it once you delve into it. stereos just never sound the same again.

some dynamat on the outer shell of sheet metal inside the doors and such and recessed spaces on the trunk and rear quarter panels etc 1st layer

This is what i wanted to do with either a 8" or 10" sub (first picture)
With a neat job this would look unreal.

    Here's mine.
The headunit is an old JVC KD-HDW10 I pulled from my truck. It has MP3/WMA CD, HD Radio, Sat Radio/iPod ready, rear aux in, 3 pre amp outputs.
Speakers are 4" Kickers I got on sale at Amazon. They're not bad and even have a tiny bit of bass, considering they're 4" speakers.

finaly got some pics of my stereo system enjoy
we will start with the heart of it... the deck, its a sony cdx f5500

then the amp... its a sony 700watt 2,3,4 channel, its running as a 3 channel eight now cause i wanted to have the sub and some speakers running off of it. the sub is on channel 1 and 2 with them being bridged. then the 6x9 speakers behind the seats are on 3 and 4 along with the 6.5 inch alpines in the doors...

door and dash speakers. door ones are powerd by the amp, dash ones are on the deck...

sony 6x9 behind the seats... also powerd by the amp...

rear shelf with 6x9s powerd by the deck.

pioneer 6.5 inch powerd by the deck...

sony explode 10 inch 330 watt sub

i thought i would throw in these pics for people wanting to know how i got the power to the amp and whatnot... the big blue one is for the amp and the small blue one is for running stuff in the car, its hooked up to a distribution block and then goes to all the stuff in the car that needs it... the black one is the stock cable to the wiring harness in the car... i still need to get a better/thicker ground cable, but it works for now...

oooo and the gold looks awesome under the hood lol...

and this is where i ran them thru the fire wall there... dont mind the tape... it was a temp fix for cold air comming thru the fire wall lol...

i would like to get another amp the the one i have and put it under the drivers seat and power up the rear 6x9s and the 6.5s in the rear... but its allready loud as heck but i would like it more lol...

    uploading a vid soon...
