  • Wierd stereo problem

Ok well I just hooked up this JVC deck in my car and it got power to the deck and power to the speakers and there was no sound to the speakers so I took it out and jumped the power to the battery an hooked up a speaker and it worked fine so I put it back in and it worked. Well I got to my house and it wouldn't pump out sound again but eventually I figured it out and went I held the brake pedal when I turned the car on it would pump out sound. But when I do that and it works and turn the headlights on it won't work again so I'm confused as hell.

Run new wires to all speakers and power / ground. Eliminate the problem by eliminating anything that could be the problem...
The normal is not always normal... MOST is not ALL... And any job can be hard if you don't have the right tools!!!

      check your grounds
may want to ground your radio chassis to the metal behind it

      I am the original

Do a search for stereo wiring in here, make sure you have it hooked up.
Or , as said above, run new wiring...
Aspires and Sways all around, Miata B6 installed, KYB G2Rs just installed in front. Wish for coil overs someday.

Idk I'm getting my new festiva here in a week so I'll just put it in there and see if it works correctly in there
