Got the HO alt brackets fabbed up onto the aluminum a/c compressor bracket today. I will mount it tomorrow then I will have to measure up a belt and go get one..

man, I'm running out of time here.. the back is taking a lot longer than anticipated. I got the center wall mounted to the base and solid. Mounting was never the problem, but making a 6" wall that is only tied in 3" at the base solid was somewhat of a challenge. It took 10- 3/8" x 4" and 8- 3/8" x 2" stainless bolts to do it. It looks kind of like this from the side but the wall is 6" thick and 48" long.

It's the economy here in Houston.. it picked up very well this year.. I haven't really been able to do crap since '01. Now the businesses are spending money again.

got my 2nd Optima industrial yellow top D31T they will be installed behind each seat.. Freakin big and expensive batteries.. @ 200.00 a pop.. but I've never had a deep cycle last longer than the Optima D31 has.

add another 60lbs to the mix..

well, I got one last year.. and since they are being wired up parallel, they should be the same... so it was either buy 2 matching sealed deep cycle batteries or buy 1 more Optima D31

but with both batteries in parallel, they will put out 2250 CCA @ freezing and around 310 reserve minutes..

man my living room is a mess.. since my garage has the turbo car in it and isn't air conditioned, I talked my wife into letting work on my project in the living room as long as I covered everything.. everyday she swears she made a mistake letting me do it there.. It's been like 3 1/2 weeks with the furniture covered.. but I'm almost ready to put the back into the car.. got most of my plexiglass viewing windows made.. waiting on some 1/0 wire for the dual optima battery setup.. so I have been sanding and filling and sanding and sanding.. I hate sanding!! Still haven't got my dash back.. hopefully that will be this week.
