You never know what they did outside the USDM...but I don't see where it would have went.

I don't think it's one unit. It's 3...maybe 4 separate units. The two radios and whatever the pocket things are..

It did, fits directly to the console. It's an original JDM fESTiVA stereo.

Here's a pic from the seller:

JDM this wouldn't have a Ford/Alpine stereo in it. This stereo is pretty clearly POST-1993 which was the last year a vehicle that was named Festiva was manufactured with the cubby box you have in your picture. (Thought the Festiva continued as an aspire in Australia until 2000) How could you use a radio down there? If you are in 1st, 3rd, or 5th gear, (P or R on an ATX) you would not be able to put a CD or tape in there. Also, you won't be able to see the front of it. I promise this is NOT a Festiva stereo. If I'm not mistaken, this setup came out of a Crown Victoria, or possibly a Thunderbird.

I have decided to wait for a Pioneer Avic-N5. If I can't have GPS, then I will just play my stock AM/FM radio.

Watched a little of that video for the Pioneer. That old man is funny. "I don't know what I just did...but I did it."

                            Brave -

The good news: that Pioneer Avic-N5 is COOL! Love the big screen but what's REALLY awesome is that it retracts into the dash. Sweet! Love the fact it is CD-capable, too.

The bad news: the Pioneer Avic-N5 is no longer manufactured. Crap! Having said that, when you said you were going to "wait" for one, do you mean until you find a used one for a good price? Gotta admit, the $1500 MSRP was way steep.

Definitely want one after seeing it. Gotta had it to you, Brave, you have a knack for finding some incredibly cool stuff!

Edit: I was talking out of my butt. The LX console is the only one that works with the stereo setup.
