1. That sub is rated for 300W RMS, and you're giving it double that. I would expect subs from DC, Sundown, and other such companies to hold up to that (hell, the SA-12's are rated for 600 and people give them 1500 no problem), but how has the rockford been taking it?
2. Why did you chose to build your sound stage from the rear? I was always taught to go from the front. (last car had alpine type S 6.5's up front on a polk 2 channel, gonna try to integrate those in the festy this summer.)
Also, I would very much like the dimensions on that box. At this rate, you could build it double wide and have 2 subs downfiring and a false floor just below the bottom of the hatch.

My Rockford is handling it awesome, I only have the amp at half gain and it's plenty. I'll have to look at my dimensions again is used the Rockford chart and just tweeked it a little to keep the same cubic space but make it fit in the rear.
