I've seen some festivas with 6.5's in the doors. Does anyone know the max mounting depth in the doors.

I put 6.5's in my doors and all I needed to do was place them over the door panel I made. They are a pretty high quality JBL and have a big magnet. You have to watch out with the wiring though and make sure the window clears it. Other than that the install was no problem and sounds great amplified with separate tweeters higher in the door!Soon to be BP'ed 92' white Festy from Worcester

im thinking of putting some 6.5s in my doors as well. i made a dash to go in the back to hide my sound system from prying eyes and out some 6.5s in it. for the ones in the doors ill probly just run wires through to harness in the doors to and splice into the wiring for the dash speakers since my radio doesnt have an extra set of wires for the front
