^ A head gasket and 4 piston rings.

    Did you refinish your flywheel?

Hey Smurf..do you have a boost controller on there? I picked up a turbo from a 87 323GT. It's the IHI VJ17. The impellers both spin freely and there isnt any shaft play. I looked at the odometer in the car that I took it from and it only had 64,XXX miles on it. I also picked up the injectors from it, and I sent them out to Witchhunter Performance to get cleaned. I plan on picking up a boost controller for my install, just so I don't hurt anything.

Why didn't you grab the whole darn engine wrestler3025! It only had 64k miles on it! That is a B6T isn't it, coming from a 323gt?

Yeah, I would, but I already put a lot of work into my B6 with 39,000 miles. I don't have the space for it either;-( I have a 2 car garage PACKED with mustang parts, festiva parts (not too many) tools and other stuff. I can hardly walk in my garage. Yeah a B6t, it was from a 87 323Gt.

Hhehehehehe not really anomoly. I am a contractor/handyman and I'm using the blue B3 right now for a work vehicle, and the red B6 is on jackstands right now because I just swapped out the transmission. I've got the old transmission in the back of the red one:-0

Oh yeah...I really wish that I could pick that engine up. They only want $160 with the core charge and 30 Day warranty included:-( Anybody interested in buying a B6t without the turbo?? heheheh

Thats sweet man, i'd love to have a b6t in mine, but suitable donors are seldom around here. You have pics of yours somewhere?
I have no form of boost control, with the exception of plugging the wastgate so it never opens lol As for the clutch problem, i decided to drive it as much as possible and see if it just needed to be broke in..I dont know what the deal is with Kevlar but 300 miles or so have passed by the odo and its stopped slipping..im still waiting for the title so no vids yet, plus i been real busy with other things..thanks for still poppin in from time to time for updates guys, this is the most attention this car will ever get haha

What metro area is this alleged low mileage b6t? Slim pickins around here at a decent price.. I just finished the b3 build, time for a swap fellas?

I haven't seen any B6t's around here except for one in the last year or so. Hey, that's just me though:-)

it's not a MAF, it's a VAM. Just like a turboford set-up... You can route it as a draw-thru or a blow thru. A blow thru set up on his car will be fine, I doubt it is moving enough CFM to cause the meter to peg. If it does, you cam always clock the meter to allow for more boost.

The Festy is down for the time being. Un-checked wastegate + nitro = head popped off block lol still runs kinda though

dude thats an awesome build. you should post that on homemadeturbo.com and show them what we are doing over hear on a budget. They mostly do just hondas on a budget but it would be cool to show them something different.
