Well I guess this as good as time as any to explain to the general public how screwed we are going to be!
Yes, you can convert to E85. the primary obstacle will be milling the head down to raise your
compression ratio high enough to take advantage of E85's higher octane rating!
You really need to do this because this going to one of the only ways to recoup the lost BTU content verse straight gasoline.
As spark ignited internal combustion engines are heat engines and E85 contains less BTU's per gallon......
You know what, here are some links read and inform yourself.
See you how far you get on your $2 a gallon fuel that we all will be subsidizing for years!

when you finish those articles let us know when your going to convert your vehicle.

E85 Is nice to have but they are not everywhere at gasoline station yet... How about converting LPG? I think they are cheaper too and high octane rate 110+ and can using LPG with normal compression ratio on our engine?

How about putting in a B6T ou BPT? With that fuel, you'll have an excuse to raise the boost... :notworthy:
The left lane? Are you crazy!!! I never drive in the left lane...It's full of freaks driving the wrong way and charging right at you!!!

propane has a surcharge if you use it to drive your vehicle. My dad's motorhome used propane, but got less mpg using it verses gas, and propane was just a tiny bit cheaper once the road surcharge was added. It was cheaper just to use gas.
