can it be done? and what does it take? we just got an e85 station and i'm down for $2.00 gas.

Well I guess this as good as time as any to explain to the general public how screwed we are going to be!
Yes, you can convert to E85. the primary obstacle will be milling the head down to raise your
compression ratio high enough to take advantage of E85's higher octane rating!
You really need to do this because this going to one of the only ways to recoup the lost BTU content verse straight gasoline.
As spark ignited internal combustion engines are heat engines and E85 contains less BTU's per gallon......

propane has a surcharge if you use it to drive your vehicle. My dad's motorhome used propane, but got less mpg using it verses gas, and propane was just a tiny bit cheaper once the road surcharge was added. It was cheaper just to use gas.The Festiva Store
