The link takes you to an article on installing a sealed lead acid battery into a Corvette. The swap dropped a hefty 30 lbs. Similar weight saving may be realized in a Festiva. Battery in the "trunk" works but actually, the weight isn't doing much good back there either. Worth looking in to.

Done. On one, anyway. However, I went from a half-size Odyssey to a full size Optima for more CCA. No problems since. I might use the Odyssey in my 5 speed when I get it running.
