Not sure if it was the same one. I got it from an ebay seller named rebelperformance. This seller is not me -- not intended to be spam.

Pretty sure both of those would fit. The description of the first one is throwing me off though...."100% brand new, never been tried on or used
Made with ultra light weight billet steel
Reduce shift throw for approximately 45%-50%
                Decrease shift time and length
Made of high quality, light weight aluminum"
So is it made of light weight billet steel, or light weight aluminum? I'm confused

What about a stock Honda shifter? Would a stock jy shifter have a shorter pattern than a 20 year old worn out Festy shifter?

Click on the link that I posted on page 2. It will take you right to them. The ones you listed tb8983 look like the ones that were breaking off in peoples hands while shifting. They are poor quality. I wouldn't trust the description either.

Ok so I got one of the hurst shifters that you guys are talking about. So I cut everything but the very top ring on the spring. Just want to make sure before I do it. I might pick up a spare spring at the junk yard tommarrow. But any pics would help

Tomorrow as in today or........anyway, I didn't take any pictures of my install. You will need to cut the spring so it is basically just a retaining ring. No need for the extra spring. You'll just want almost a full circle. Let us know how it turns out.

One thing I've noticed with the shifters mentioned in this thread is that they don't appear to be adjustable. I installed the Pacesetter model #01-0620 (originally intended for 89-92 Ford Probe, Mazda 323, 626 or MX-6GT) which is adjustable. I did find that in first third and fifth the shift knob was a little close to the console so I shortened the shift rod by about 1/4".

I really like this set up and would recommend it if you can find one.

That's the problem pacesetter has stopped making it and nobody has them anymore. I know it's a great setup I have had them on past festiva's

                              The hurst shifters aren't adjustable.
