No it will not work. The 1.9 is a FORD motor. (and a piece of junk at that. and yes I had an escort so I am talking from experience) Your festiva is mostly MAZDA. It has a Mazda B3 B-series motor. Which is why other Mazda motors will swap easily. Such as the 1.8 BP Found in the Mazda protege LX or escort GT89SX funtop! Fully loaded!

Non ça ne fit pas met un BP à la place c'est bien plus facile à faire le SWAP. Dit-toi que une Festiva c'est un Mazda et non un Ford.
