Correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I've been reading, the b6 is a bored out b3. just go with a b6...all the "MONEY" you'd spend on engine work...ALREADY DONE!! And as far as the bike pistons go...yeah, I'd say it is possible but will take a lot of trial and fixing and a good bit of money.

as far as "fast" goes I like how it was stated before, it depends on how you define fast...

and I don't really care how fast it'll ride...its a 1.3!! I'd rather have a smooth ride, from 1st to 2nd in a quick accel I usually get a front end dive...can be a bit annoying depending on how picky I'm being. skeeter's coil overs ride beautifully. Do you want to go fast in a straight line and race people on highways or at red lights? or be a bit more realistic and enjoy the car like autoxers do? I understand you're on a budget but the best advice I got after I picked up the festy was from skeeter in the fact that i need to drive the car and save money on gas enough to eventually start putting money back into it. Save money before you spend it. and if you've got a big project going on...make sure you've got all the pieces before you start. which means much planning, up-front money to supply your needs, and PATIENCE!!
