WTFman2 i think your being too literal, yeah the guy posted at LEAST 10hp but maybe because he thought it was a small increase without considering that it's like 15%. Surely the post saying well you could achieve 10% (6hp or so) by doing this.
Oh and and option available to increase power on a carby festiva in Australia might just be bolting on a 16v head from a 121 Bubble Sedan. Swap out the TBI for the carby, run thinner synthetic oil, stick to 98 octane, nail the timing.
Prob cost him at the most AU$200:idea:

Swap out the single pipe exhaust for a dual pipe in a late 80's 121 hatch
