You don't need to do this. You just need to bash the firewall a little bit with a BFH and if you keep the stock festi tranny you dont need to notch the frame. And if you use the BP+G5M-R you just need to bash the frame a little and allmost no need to bash the firewall with this combo.

BPT, G5M-R, BP26 Exintake swap + Fidanza cam gear, NSRT4 FMIC + 2.5" piping, HKS SSQV BOV, Exedy clutch, 3" downpipe + 2" all the way back, Aspire brake swap, KYB GR-2 & FMS coil spring , FMS EURO body kit + Carbon fiber hood, Falcon RTX 15X6½ + Toyo proxes T1R 195/45R15

I hope i helped OP on his quest. $400 for a running engine trans and ecu is a fair price. If you get lazy you can just drive the 323 a while!

blkford: I doubt a stroked 1.6 with high compression would run right on OEM controls anyway. This defeats the sleeper and squeak by emissions purposes If I had to redo an engine harness (dohc's) I might as well would get it inspected and certified with the new engine. To save mass amounts of time a 8v 1.6 with mods still ends up a peppy festiva.

I never had to bash the firewall or frame with my BP swap

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

could you maby make a b4.5? take a b3 block and pistons and put in b6 rods and crank? would that work? or maby de-strok a b6 using a b3 crank and rods to make it rev higher?

The B3 and B6 have the same stroke. The bore is different. 71 mm for the B3 and 78 mm for the B6
