Hey guys,
I got a guy with a machine shop that can fix me up a dual spring pressure plate via a walk-through. My question is this: Would this be a more viable alternative than doing a 6-puck clutch? I can imagine it'd grab harder without the teeth destroying force of a 6-puck. Also, it'd be cheaper in the long run. I'll have to daily drive the car when its done but I'll still be making decent power after I get it all set-up. Any problems with dual-spring pressure plates other than them making the clutch pedal harder to push down?
Walkthrough I'll be using is this: http://fordfestivaaspire.yuku.com/topic/1113 Pretty simple sounding to make.
