VAF adapter

Where can I get a VAF adapter for my cold air intake? I having trouble getting one, unless I have to make it myself?

I went with the "O". But ebay one is cheaper.

Get one from a ford turbocoupe they will be around 2 bucks at a pull a part.

Actually, with a $15 shipping fee, the ebay adaptor and filter set costs you $22. The O'Reilly's adaptor is $14, and you can then use whatever better quality cone filter you wish. I use grey AEMs for the Miata, which are more expensive, but they're supposed to filter better & keep engine air cleaner.

junk yard... the aftermarket ones dont look that great imo... the bmw and jag ones have ramps inside to make smoother flow

I got one off a jy BMW but the four mounting holes were too close to the "pipe" to put in any bolts or nuts. I had to use a plastic ebay adaptor. I may revisit this (I still have the part) with some replacement hex bolts if I can match them up. I forget exactly how it attaches, with bolts or nuts (?).

I'll try checking out the TurboCoupe adaptors if I see one at the jy.

You guys should check them out, the bolt holes counter sunk . I don't have any way to put pictures on the net. If you of you guys want a pick I will take one with my phone and send it to you that way. Well when I get to work 5am pst
