On a side note, I wonder if I could use a generator to make enough HHO to fuel a pulse jet... just for giggles. It would be way too impractical for actual implementation. I'll have to check but for a test stand model I think it might be pretty cool, because 1lb of hydrogen contains around 60,000 BTUs. Of course a pound of hydro is a LOT, because it is such low density. 1 cubic foot of hydrogen contains only 320 BTUs. Propane (a common fuel for pulse jets) contains about 22,000 BTUs per pound. So hydro has a much higher energy capacity than propane, its just impractical because of its low density, but if I could produce enough HHO 'as needed' storage isn't really a problem, and a small pump could be used to raise the gas to the 5-10 psi needed to feed it into the pulse jet... hmm...
