  • pictures of diff carnage

well ive been runnning jasons festiva (festicle) for about 2 months maybe? i tried launching the car from a stand still had some wheel hop and stayed in it a little to long ( full passs) so the end result was explosion of the spider gears and damage to the phantom grip. At first i thought maybe i broke a control arm or axle due to the car was pulling hard to the left. i was able to limp the car home for about a mile with no diff ( didnt leave me stranded!) so my built kia trans is going in this car and maybe a set of gtx front control arms to help with the wheel hop. it shoould be intresting if we can get the car to hook with the current power it maybe a contender.

the car was dynoed at 288 to the wheels, the gtx controls arms are pretty close when slid it the stock control arm box, another torque box will need to be made for the front bushing. my friend is fabricating it, he was thinking of adding another torque box coming of the custom cross memeber to tie it all together.

I replaced all the rubber in the front suspension with delrin and have very little wheel hop.

The question still stands, was that a G series or a stock festy? In the FS thread he doesn't mention which trans it has, just 'new axles'. I hope my G series with PG lasts better than that :p
