I saw a post awhile back that a guy drilled some holes in the air box for better air flow, is this true or just wishfull thinking on my part.

All I did to mine was take that skinny 180 degree duct off (where it goes into the fender). The hole that's left is big enough to flow all the air a B3 will need. It made a small, but noticeable difference. It's a little louder too.Festiva: Because even my dog can build a Honda.

^ True on the VAF, but you're still dealing with a 50mm throttle body (about 3 square inches) minus the area the throttle blade takes up. The hole that's left when that duct is removed is about the same size in area.
Then again, extra holes can't hurt.Festiva: Because even my dog can build a Honda.
