come on its 2 wires for a coil.... ANY coil will work... (unless it says it need a msd box to supply the power to it cause the draw would be to much for the factory wires...) its easy, do some reading and figgure this stuff out!!! getting everyone to spoon feed you info all the time isnt good, you dont learn anything and you never learn to make your own decisions.... try searching and reading before you make another thread that ends up with people telling you the exact same thing that i just told you...

What is the point of this MSD on a B3 engine to begin with? You wont see any HP coming from this.

what happend to the swap your dad was going to help you with? if your on a tight budget and you insist on putting money into the b3 and you dont car about blowing it up. get the fms cam, msd sci cdi ignition box, msd coil, 1.3 header (i think genie made on for the b3/b6?) put a decent straight 2 inch exhaust with a muffler, and get a 50 of shot nitrous kit. when you blow up the motor you can always sell the nitrous kit, and when you do your swap you can use the sci box.

                power, ground, coil+, coil-, signal.

                thats it.

buy a tach adapt if you want a stock tach to work.

go to the msd website and download the wiring schematics pdf file. if you bought the unit new it should come with diagrams.

the thick wire is the + and the thin wire is the - its very easy... just put on some crimp on things that will fit the coil you have and then put the to the coil and mount it to the fire wall... done, start it up and drive...

Oh okay because the one I have has do many wires connected to it. Lol . I'll try that. Okay well it'd only two wires then. But the festiva stock coil has 4 wires, 2 that go to the coil and two thatlook like ground. Should I just unite the two positive and the to negative cables, together and install it to thecoil?
