    Correction: The halfshafts you can get reman'd at any autoparts store, they are not hard to find at all.

    The hard to find part is the intermediate shaft:



    They aren't available new or even reman'd

      Thanks for all the info guys. I bought an intermediate shaft, one in good shape too for 40 dollars. Should be here about Wednesday.

              The intermediate shaft is there for torque steer yes. The idea is to make the axles into each wheel hub as close to the same length as possible.

              I believe shadetree is the member who has a running example of this by now. Hes been working on it for a little while

                  I have no idea, i think it might be the kia rio 02 ls seeing as that's what most suspension parts are from.
