B6t turbo on bp questions

No the VJ14 came on the Capri. The VJ11 came on the Probe/MX6 GT. The VJ11 is bigger.
It's a proprietary flange, these are the only two turbos that will bolt to the manifold. T3 turbos use a different flange

Don't cut the B6t manifold up. It'd be less effort to torch cut a new flange to weld onto the BP manifold. You could make or buy a pre-made flanges for t3 or whatever too

Ok thanks. But the turbo I have says IHI on it. There's was more letters on it but really didn't pay attention. So is the IHI the same as the vj14? Lol oh yeah you still know someone that's interested?

IHI is the name brand of turbo'd, kinda like garrett

Yes IHI is the manufacturer. VJ14 is the model/size of the turbo.

IHI is the acronym for: Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries.
Same thing with KKK turbos, named for the original owners, but a little
less of a mouthfull when added to the side of their products!
