So when I get home from work just search that across the webs and try find it? or do you happen to have a link?

If you don't have a link don't try to find it, wouldn't want someone to bust their arse considering I don't exactly have plans to do this, at least not in the near future, due to my lack of knowlage when it comes to boosting.

Thanks again, I've learned quite a bit already, Mike

draw through also pulls fuel through the vanes of the turbo, which, if not properly atomized in suspension in the air charge, can cause various issues for the turbine, as well.

See what happens to turbine blades with water/meth injection pre-turbo. The liquid becomes a projectile at high velocity that "pings" the turbine blade while changing direction. It's also apparently pretty bad for shaft seals if it reaches that far.

You can run blow-through (pressurized) without a box, by adding a signal line from the charge pipe to the carb vent on the bowl. That's how we (read: everyone else, I've never actually done all the work to boost a bike) do it on bikes using a manifold line to the carb vents, or by sealing the vents and tapping a line directly into the bowl or carb body that feeds into the bowl.

Signal line sizing is very important. You don't want the equivalent of boost lag on the bowl line because it will obviously result in terrible throttle response and lean operation any time the boost picks up until the bowl equalizes, but you also don't want the signal line to provide boost faster than the charge pipe, because obviously that will force too much fuel into the air charge, again, killing throttle response and create a lot of smoke and other over-fueling issues like fouled plugs and washed cylinder walls.

The idea is to equalize the pressure at the throttle plate and in the bowl so the carb thinks "all's well". Otherwise, you end up blowing pressure through the main jet and not picking up fuel, but spilling it out the vent instead.

We used to have several of the '79+ 2.3L Turbo Mustangs, which were a draw through design. Not a real good example of engineering, LOL, but they did work. Besides terrible lag, they had a habit of boiling fuel and catching on fire. I guess it was more the "infant" years of factory turbocharging. My brother's '79 Pace Car actually ran dependably for 100K+ miles before burning to a crisp.

Every carb's better with a boost bonnet on it.

Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.
