Forum protocol dictates that you 1st take the caps lock off when you type, as this is considered to be YELLING by otherwise polite forum society.
Yes you can bolt a BP to an "E" series trans, and yes the clutch will slip with almost 3/4 throttle, or if you prefer, not even "beating it". You'll also need A BP09 or BP10 ecu as well (which I can provide you) as well as two more wiring pins to go into that ecu (which I can also provide you) a new passenger side mounting, and a "U" type vaf among other things.
Here's an inspirational picture for you of one I just installed in a buddies festiva. The custom intake is my own design:

I didn't cut the frame or firewall. But I used the g eries trans. With the stock trans the motor is tilted towards the rear of the car so the firewall must be modified. I did have to beat the framerail with a hammer some to make more clearance but I also run ac. You will have to grind the oil pan some for passenger side axle clearance. Take your time and the end result will be better.

I didn't. Yes a clutch upgrade would be in order, but remember, you will be effectively doubling the HP the 62hp "e" series trans and axles are/is designed for. Don't even think about putting it on an autotrans.
What parts have you assembled for this project so far?

                Why do you say that?

The auto is known to take as much abuse as a G series 5 speed.

In fact Im gonna be swapping my G series out for a festy auto.

Many people have used the stock 5 speed with BP swaps, and kept them alive. I've driven a BP swapped festiva with a stock 5 speed and I was afraid of grenading the trans. It had a very stiff clutch with very little give at all. The gearing of the stock trans also sucks for the higher power band of the bp. In the end I would take a stock auto over a stock manual. They're much more forgiving when it comes to abuse. I felt like a little accidental wheel hop would shatter the little E series...

Good then, you've really got most of the parts at your disposal. You've got the ecu, the vaf, the wire for the plug, and a good passenger side mount. Pay attention to the angle of the BP engine as is sit's right now as compared to the angle of the B3.
Which Throttle body is on the GT, the automatic or manual?

You'll need the intermediate shaft from a Mazda 323 GT or a Mercury Capri XR2 To use the Escort transmission. Another option is to use 2001 - 2005 Kia Rio axles. You won't have to worry about the mid shaft with the Kia axles, but that setup will produce torque steer.

                              You'll also need custom mounts.

If you decide to go with the E series trans, definitely upgrade the clutch. I have an Exedy clutch with about 25,000 miles on it in my car and my B8 slips the clutch everytime I shift to 3rd when I get on it.
