    I want to test that "Knife Edging" to see about what kind of gains you would get from that in a B3. I imagine that making improvements like that which don't "add power" but rather mitigate loss might help an engine last a little bit longer by reducing strain and also improve fuel efficiency

      Be prepared to have your entire rotating assembly balanced afterward. Also if you're going that far, offset grind the rod journals for more stroke and compression and not have to deck the block.
      Trees aren't kind to me...
