Wow, those bulkhead connectors are nice. Looks easy to make the cabin connection water tight, too... The only thing I've ever done like this is using large connectors from other cars and splicing them in with standard weather-pack [whatever you want to call them] connections.

hey DON SVO, do you have an ECU Pinout for the 90-93 ford festiva? Or know where i can find one?

Long story short, i have a mspnp for a 90-93 miata, and im going to try to make it work on my festiva. I just need to find the pinouts for a 90-93 festiva and a 90-93 miata but I've had no luck finding any good stuff. Sorry for the thread hijack haha.

          Don.
If you do a detailed write up on this, I'll donate $100 to ff.com.

if its the former... we're in for an interesting ride. (and ill probably go with aftermarket stand alone ecu)
If its the latter, you can just not connect it and it will be fine, and you could leave the gauges reading their analog signals (maybe)

Thats why im asking don (who has a tonne of experience) to confirm the purpose of this interface.

Especially if you can cover carb to b6t conversion wiring

                It will be simple enough.
I'm way more confident now that I have a better understanding of the existing componentry in both cars.
I'm still tempted to run standalone ecu. But I'll definitely configure the stock b6t one first.

I would really like don to do a write up on the wiring since his in-depth knowledge would prevent lots of mistakes.

I've sidetracked lately with BS involving my other car and building another engine. This thread needs to be updated. Decided to get started on the cluster today.

Bought 7 sheets of 1/4" ABS plastic:

... And used a bunk cluster I had sitting around. It was a martyr for a good cause.

I used the bad cluster as a template. I want this to fit into my dash like stock, so I noted tabs for attachment and holes where the clips for the bezel go:

I'm using 5 dedicated spots for gauges: tach, wide band, oil, water and boost/vac. They are laid out accordingly.

Yes, green turn signals and integrated CEL/Brake will go in also:

                  Laid out for reference.

how's the cluster and loom writeup coming along?

                    Was just curious is all..

BTW, cluster looks great so far in theory.. can't wait to see the finished product.
