        are those the 12:1 low tention ring pistons you mentioned?

                If these are what i think they are (98% sure), these pistons will not use piston squiters in order to lower crank case windage. instead, the oil scrapers will pull double duty and force the cylinder wall oil tward the underside of the piston, instead of it getting forced from a squiter nozzle.

                  You obveiously remember our conversation,this bp will have blocked oil spuirters so the skirt releaf is not needed.These pistons will get forced pin oilers drilled in the pin bore to provide pressurized oil to the pin.The benefit of cooling the underside of the piston in o.e. applications will not be needed in this engine as controling combustion temps,and anti knock, will be adressed by other means but the advantage in reducing windage and directing more oil to the rod and main bearings are a must when 9,000 rpm and 3hp per cube.

                    I actually saw this done by another fellow whos an engine builder on mturbro.net everyone was like WTBBQF? But the more and more i mulch it over it makes perfect sense.
