  • Would this Weber 32/36 Adapter Plate Work in Our Carby Festivas?

Says to work with Mazda 121.

I just didn't know that all of these vehicles had such similar carburetor setups...?

Ray, do a search for Weber conversion. You will find there is a Dickemeyer intake manifold almost ready for production. It will be far better than any adapter to the stock manifold.

        Ray, the link says this:

        "Manifold adaptor to suit Mazda 1500, 1600, 929, Capella, 121, 626, 808, 1800, 2000 1977-1983"

Note the years! The older Mazda 121 was a rear wheel drive car. I doubt that older engine intake would be the same as a later model B series intake. I wouldn't take the chance if I were you. At the very least write them and see if you can get a clear answer from someone who sounds like he knows his business.

In the meantime, one of our members has come out with adapters, and another one may be coming out with a whole custom intake.

        Look around.
