The turbo light is for the 323. It did not have a boost gauge. It won't throw any lights on or cause any running issues, I think the AC and PS are routed through the electrical load control unit. If you were to put it into diagnostic mode with the jumper it may give a code for missing solenoid etc but not illuminate a CEL or go into limp mode

Thank You very much, looks like this is a very easy swap. Matt I tried registering on ClubCapri. But kept getting kicked back with an eronious message, saying I had incorrect characters in my user name(I checked like 5 times). Finally I just gave up out of frustration.

I've just stripped out and labelled all necessary wiring to do my carb b3 to b6t conversion.
I can't seem to be able to find a check engine light wire????
Is there supposed to be one there on the Capri?
Its definitely not ecu driven. I've looked at the pin out, actual cables, and wiring diagrams.

        Rocketman. Are you around?

          terminal 1a light green red?

Ive had to follow the check engine bulb light on a cluster backwards before on other cars, could be worse you would have had to do about 40 of those if it wasnt for rocketman's pictures. b6t guru for sure.

You can also go outside the box and run a new wire direct to a bulb and not use your cluster harness as i see you are coming from a carb. Ive also done this move as well. Remember In california we have to be sneaky, so making the check engine light be on with the door open, or key on but not when the engine is running, yeah flip the bulbs with the oil pressure or alternator light, yes and yes LOL

I'm in Australia. The donor car was an 89 Capri turbo (before xr2 was released).
Pin out 1a is empty on my harness.

            D'oh!!!
